Giving the best to ones child is the most pressing desire of each and every parent. At times however, one may land up with a school that does not offer any extracurricular activities. Though there is some merit in having a professionally trained person guide and oversee the activities of the children, after school the parent can also develop activities. Many struggling math students have been diagnosed with a specific learning disability. Some of them share this diagnosis with their math tutors and math teachers in a matter-of-fact way and others believe that tried and true methods will better “reach” them in their disabled state.
